Makes the #8 spot for a pass rusher a WHOLE lot weaker. :/
I wonder how this might affect Pace's consideration of trading down a few places. Maybe there isn't a guy at #8 who he feels is worth that pick, but maybe another team would.

going to be harder to trade down w/less talent available to be taken ahead of them. I think there are going to be a couple really good CB's at 8 available, and the team could obviously use some CB help. And if the DB's and ILB's can cover the WR/TE's for more then 3 sec's then even w/out a great rush you stand a good shot of getting to the QB.

+1 This upcoming draft seems loaded with quality CBs.
I was thinking about this earlier: I know it's highly unlikely Saquon Barkley makes it all the way to #8 (Giants are very high on him) but what if he does? you know Pace likes to draft bpa. What would you do? Pass on a guy that could become the next great RB (some say he's even better than EE) or end up with Barkley, Howard and Cohen?
Draft Barkley and trade Howard for 2 or 3. Barkley will be special and take heat off Trubisky.

Barkley won't be there unfortunately, but if he were I would keep Barkley, Howard and Cohen. It would be a sick 1 2 punch w/a nasty shot off and on to boot.

That would be a dumb move. We already have a 1,000+ for 2 years each and you would gamble that away for a "chance" of getting someone better then Howard?
I rather go after Quenton Nelson then Barkley. At least Nelson would replace Sitton or Long who both are in the 30+ already...

OL with the 1st seems like a smart move. You have to protect your QB. The last OG I wanted as much as Nelson was DeCastro who ended up with the Steelers.
