Seriously though, I agree with Blue, WR's are always going to be especially susceptible to hamstring issues and this is going to happen occasionally even with the best diet and conditioning routines. If he needs to sit for one game, no big deal, but if they rush him back and makes a minor issue a major issue then there is a problem...again.
I wonder if we can be doing something better in training. Jeffrey did not train with us and he got a hammy. White did and he still got a hammy. Maybe just a fluke, but I wonder of we have the very best modern training happening at HH
That's what I'm asking as well because it isn't just these two who've had hammy issues.

Or we could have someone tell them " hey look it's just practice - I know what you can do , so lunging for the ball or turning on the afterburners to catch up to a long throw isn't necessary ... save the extra effort stuff for games " . Cuz THAT'S how hamstring injuries happen -trying too hard ... putting abnormal stress on a muscle . They all have limitations .
This guy himself should be wanting to play even if his leg is falling off at this point just at least make a cameo Sunday.
I have no doubt he does, but you don't rush an injury; it only makes things worse, and you don't put on, as Fox says, good tape....unless your Forte in your 2nd year when he played w/a hammy for most the year and still put on "good tape".

That's when men were men now it's all about big CASH days. So any little thing ends up to yeah my ass hurts I think I'll sit out till I really have to play. What you can't jeopardize my career you're a bad person you're such a bad person I'm also going to sit when National Anthem plays because I'm that special.

It's not that I don't understand the part of this that's saying let's be smart here and not risk an even more extended period of absence but a the same time I'm on the side of Foxy's thinking that sometimes you have to play with the "owies". Lombardi told his guys much the same.
I don't care how talented a player is that player's availability on game day is also a big part of his overall package and he's being paid to keep himself available as well. We've been treating this kid like some kind of a thoroughbred race horse ever since he arrived but at some point in time he needs to actually get out of the barn and run a race.
