Michael Jordan might be a bit of a stretch, closest thing to Jordan in the NFL would be a guy like P Manning.
But I agree, I think Watson is the best qb in the draft, and any team in need of a qb come draft day that passes on him is missing the mark.
It's nice to know he can also play basketball.
They say he is the next Hank Aaron at baseball. It will be like having Peyton Manning, Michael Jordan & Hank Aaron. After that National Championship win over Alabama it was hinted that he may find a cure for cancer & bring world peace to our planet (he'd have to do that in the off-season though).
He is a true "Renaissance Man" for The Logg & Fox to develop.
Skipping the Senior Bowl is a mistake for him. No one really cares what you do number wise, as a QB. They just have to be average. They want to see you run a NFL offense. The Senior Bowl is where you showcase that.
No...the hype Jabrill Peppers has is unreal. This kid actually backs up his hype.
And what exactly should his head coach say? He's mediocre? LOL.
No way he would admit he's mediocre. He would blame it on injuries!
Sorry.... got a little lost there. Different coach. Different situation.
Get it right, BIH. They are not injuries. Fox prefers the more accurate terms like "owies" and "day-to-day" - of course who knows what either means to Fox. Anything from a stubbed toe to being dead.
motm I dunno that he's got unreal hype around him. I think he's a prospect that some members of this board are excited about. I'm personally excited about him. I'm less excited about Trubisky and, while I'm liking what I've seen from Kizer, I'm not thrilled about him - yet.
With all that aside, let me enjoy the offseason and the hype that comes with it. As a Bears fan, the offseason has a history of being my most optimistic time of the football year.

Watson last year was considered the #1 pick and best qb in this draft, and now after winning a national championship against the closest thing to NFL def in college is again the #1 qb, and possible #1 pick in the draft, there is no over hype about him, there is only the fact that people tried to knock him further down then he should have been.
