So we should draft a QB and an OL every year and all the other positions on an as needed basis?
QB/DE/OT/OG/OLB/CB should always be drafted until you have a consistent pro bowler at those positions, then you can probably draft them every 2-3 years.
OC/ILB/NT/S/RB/WR/TE/FB/K/P/KR/PR don't need to be drafted as often imo.
Bears have OG locked up, but could use depth at OT. Could use depth at OLB
Need another starter and backup DE Need a starter and bakup QB Need 2 starting CB's
OC is locked up also ILB is locked up RB is locked up P is locked up
NT needs depth S needs 2 starters WR needs a #2 TE NEED a starter Not worried about FB/K/P/KR/PR those can be found UDFA or via other positions.
I wouldn't skip one year w/out drafting a OL'men, but you can afford to go after guys in the mid rounds that need to work on their game or strength.
All other factors being equal, OL can wait until the 4th or 5th. We have way bigger fish to fry in the first 3 rounds (CB, DE, S, QB, TE). I do think Pace needs to sign a T in FA if there's someone decent out there. We have depth options in the interior but are thin on the outside.
