This is in today's Chicago Tribune. It is beginning to feel like the Trestman debacle.
LINK For those keeping count, that was three captains Monday vocalizing concerns with the coaching.
Now seven games into his third season — with a 3-17 road record and a .341 overall winning percentage — Eberflus is again facing a barrage of criticism from those concerned about his accumulation of jaw-dropping losses, which seem to quadruple the signature victories.
Go ahead and stack this latest heartbreaker on top of three equally gutting defeats last season to the Browns, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. With each one, the confidence in Eberflus erodes — often from the outside, sometimes from within.

oh boy... They are piling on. It's a feeding frenzy. Not that the coaches don't deserve it, but it's like a switch has been flipped. From optimism with CW to pessimism with Flus
"The Bears finally got their first winning streak of three games under Eberflus and it ended with the Hail Mary pass. In it, they didn’t beat a single team anyone would call a playoff contender."
"The truth is, the Bears have not beaten a good team except for Detroit last season at Soldier Field. They haven’t won over a good or respectable team on the road. They’re 3-17 on the road under Eberflus."
It's getting ugly. But those stats have been there for a while. It's just getting some focus now.
Mediocre at coaching. Excellent at keeping the locker room together. Up until the players realize he can't coach
Still don't understand why we keep just a mediocre coach. His record speaks for itself and his 4th Q meltsdowns are even worse. This is a team right now that is better than their record but is getting held back by coaching. Either Poles get rid of him or he can go as well.

I also don
t get why the team is so flat when they start a game. Is it as simple as bad play calling? Does CW and the jitters have something to do with it? It seems to have become a common occurrence.

Waldon is well known within the Seahawk fanbase for having their star WR disappear in games. There is no reason why we ain't scoring more than 15 points with the likes of Moore, Allen, Odunze, Kmet. Williams is far more talented than any QB we had in the past.

Absolutely true. And our bar for talented QBs is pretty low, lol. But I agree that he seems to be better. For sure in terms of processing and understanding the defense. He seems to have picked that up scary fast. Now he actually has to do something for the first three quarters and stop over throwing his targets. He has been too inaccurate and inconsistent. And I am saying this as a person that likes him and wants him to succeed.
