Brax will be out for a week or two, so we’re going to get a good look a Amegadjie. In a way, that is good, because we need to know whether he looks like a potential starter at LT or the next Borom.

What was your impression of him yesterday?
Woof!! He whiffed on pass pro on 1 play badly and had the wrong zone assignment on a run, all correctable I guess but he has to learn & FAST!!!

Coaching fuckup #23:
Borom was available and practiced in full all week but they chose to keep him inactive and have KA be the reserve OT. OMFG, these coaches are morons.
Kiran is a rookie from Yale who missed the entire offseason program and that's the guy you trust as your #3 when you have a solid swing tackle vet available??
To compound it, they didn't give him any help al all at first and he wrecked two drives all by himself by blocking only air. It wasn't until late in the game that they put Lewis next to him for chip help--that's when they started moving the ball better.
KA is a long-term project only. He was supposed to get an injury redshirt year this season. We can debate whether he was a wise 3rd rd pick (I think NOT) but the coaches have utterly mismanaged the situation here.

Bears coaches mismanaging something? I find that pretty far fetched

He was bad - lost. He should never have sniffed the field this season because he is not ready for NFL ball. He is a project.

Precisely
You had Borom available and Borom, despite being not good, is still a huge upgrade over KA as a swing tackle. He's been in that spot for 2 full years and knows the offense and blocking scheme.
I admit I have been stunned this season about how shockingly unprepared these coaches are with regard to personnel usage. Waldron has been here since February. Flus has been here 3 years. And yet they both act like they just met the players on their roster. The seem to not understand the strengths and weaknesses of their players and personnel groupings.

So do you expect Borom will start this week?
If Poles sees KA as his future LT, they maybe will just throw him to the wolves to gain experience like they did to Brax his rookie season.

I watched some breakdown on YT football scout. Just SO raw to put him in vs Borom or something else is crazy. It's like they want him to be good so they don't have to draft a LT.
This guy is at least a full season and training camp.

There really isn't a good option here because Borom is not very good at all. But he is probably a lot better than Amegadjie at this point who just doesn't look like he's even close to being a starting NFL lineman.
