After the season, Warren has to intervene cuz Poles is too buddy-buddy with Flus to make an objective decision. Flus/Waldron need to go.
These guys simply aren't good enough. They aren't "getting better". There are no excuses left.
Get ready, cuz we are gonna get swept by Green Bay yet again and will fade from the playoff picture once the meat of the divisional games get going. We have the 4th best HC in the division and it isn't close. LaFleur is gonna school Flus twice. I already see how this is gonna go.
You're being too nice. 4th best? Call it like it is - the worst HC in the division. Maybe even the entire league?
Too bad Trestman was still not coaching in the league. He could have been our buffer.
After hearing the players today I'm of the opinion that the locker room is 1 more terrible game altering call away from rioting after a game.
And I believe Flus isn't getting fired. He'll finish 9-8, contend for a WC - maybe even get it - and be back for year 4.
Undefeated? No
5-2? Absolutely
6-1? Very Likely
There's no way Harbaugh mismanages the last 2 minutes like the way Flus the Clown did.
I edited that out because I really don't want to get in a discussion about it. I'm not as enamored with Harbaugh as many are. He's not here, and I'm not crying over split milk. Many of us wanted Flus gone after last season and I was pretty sure that Harbaugh was never going to be discussed seriously by the FO and owner.

It's too early to know how it will go. But if Eberflus loses his players he's gone. I mean, what alternate plan is there for Poles? We are seeing the cracks in the player loyalty to Eberflus. These are senior and respected players - not rabble rousers - who you don't dismiss as know-nothing guys. For that matter these are captains of the team. It could go either way though from this point. If the team starts winning, then that's one thing. But if we see the team go under due to Eberflus and Waldron bumbling, they are goners. You can't lead if your team won't follow.
Picture this. These players have already been perfectly willing to talk to the media about frustrations. They were pretty candid about the team meeting with Waldron over his poor coaching. Just picture what it looks like when they demand to "talk" with Ryan Poles about coach frustrations. Not saying that WILL happen. But if the bumbling clown show continues I could see that going down.

Wouldn't that be typical for the Bears? To be the the first team I can remember to openly riot against the HC, who gets fired and replaced by....Washington? With Thomas Brown (current Passing game coordinator) becoming OC and Dave Borgonzi (current LB coacj) becoming DC.
Then they would rally to go 4-0 over their last four games, finishing 9-8.
Poles interviews and the hires Lincoln Riley as HC.

I could cry.
Yeah, I have no clue how it will go these last 10 games. That really is a lot of football. We're not even at the halfway point of the season yet. I expect the Bears to wait until the season is over and then decide what to do with the coaching staff.

Its all wishful thinking and desperate projecting at this point. Even when Trestman lost the team they didn't fire him midseason. Kmet and Moore would have to jump Waldron in the locker room and duct tape him to a toilet before the team admitted a problem. Meanwhile Byard and Johnson would stuff Flus into an equipment locker and declare that as oldest DEF player, Byard would be the interim player-coach.
There would be a 911 call and SWAT would be in a standoff with Tank Johnson, who suddenly appeared.
