3rd concussion for Brisker. That is concerning. But it's great to have Pickens and Martin healthy on the DL. Hopefully the team can get pretty healthy for the NFCN games.
I don't really care about the Packers or their fans, and don't care what they think. Even if they try to come off as cool, their attitudes and opinions reek of entitlement and superiority because of a couple of lucky QB draft picks (who are now not even on the team). Accordingly, they live in a fantasy land where Love is just the next HOF up. Hahahaha!
Love is a risk-taker and gambler, and benefits from having a bunch of "good" targets that hurt defenses with a good player or two but can't cover everyone. That plays right into Flus's Lovieball hands. Love is going to throw it to the Bears. A lot. SO looking forward to it. Bears are entering an era like I enjoyed in my younger days, where the Pack are a hated joke vs legit scary.
For this game I have confidence in the Bears because the defense is top notch (while still being underrated), and has the depth to withstand Quanny and Spidey out (and they're even better WITH them). The DLine is getting better by the week, and getting to the QB. I think the Bears have a hidden edge here because while Kingsbury knows Caleb, Caleb also knows Kingsbury. Flus is smart & he'll use that to disrupt what they're trying to do.
On offense, Caleb is ascending. He's already playing like one of the better QBs in the league over the past few games, and we've only seen a glimpse of it. He'll make a couple of mistakes but what appears near-certain is he'll also continue to demonstrate skill and command, and he's had two weeks to prepare for this. And his competitiveness will make him want this game more than most for many obvious reasons. What he has now with the weapons surrounding him is the ability to make it happen.
Bears 34 Commodes 20
I think that before we talk like that, we should have 2 or 3 blowouts against the Pack. I sincerely think that these are on the way. But, until then, we have no basis to talk.
And on a more serious note, we have been seeing folks who are ardent backers of our NFCN rivals show up and have acted in somewhat of an arrogant way. While we will not condone that, I would like to think the folks who have been hanging out here are just nicer people than that. I would love for a successful Beard franchise and its fans to be thought of as an overall class act.
And with that, I'll get off my soapbox.
I am not sure what other fans of NFCN "rivals show up" here. But if I have acted in an "arrogant" way, I'd love to see an example of it. And if it's Vikings fans? If you want to really trigger them? Tell them what I tell them: I realize you like to think the Vikings are the Packers "rival" but the Packers only true rivalry in the North is with the Bears. Gets 'em every time.😌
What I actually came here to write is that Clete Blakeman and crew are officiating the Chicago at Washington game. Normally a flag happy crew.
Sorry, I check the Zebras for every game each week.

The name ptisme seems familiar. Not sure where or when I have seen it before. Perhaps on a Packers forum long ago.
Not worried about being banned. The Vikings forum had no reason to ban me. The owner literally told me that those there were "intimidated" and "fearful" of me.
Looking forward to some positive discourse here.
It's been a fun season so far. Going to be a joy seeing how the North all shakes out. Possible that all 4 teams get in the playoffs. I think it will be 3, but four is indeed possible.
Getting back on topic...
Are Bears fans thinking W because Daniels may not play? Or do you think the Bears can steal a road win against a pretty good team in Washington?
I saw 3 of their games, it is not a team to look past, with or without Daniels.
Wash is well coached as well. I may get hate for this, but I have no confidence at all in Eberflus and staff. The Bears roster is improved, but I think the coaching staff will lead them nowhere fast. For Bears fans sake, I hope they don't keep him because they rack up 8 or 9 wins this season.
I am sure Bears fans are thinking above 9 wins, but honestly being in the North it will be tough for anyone to get to 10 or eleven.
Hopefully the Pack gets to 6-2 on Sunday.
Welcome! 90 percent of the folks here are great guys I'd actually love to have a beer with. I have managed to stay out of trouble by not cutting their team down and steering clear of their rants if they lose:). IE I keep it civil:)

Welcome to the messageboard. ptisme is a valued member here, and has been for several years. He is a Packers fan. He is respected here because he is knowledgeable and respectful of everyone. This is a different messageboard from others in that we formed this board after tiring of boards where people are disrespectful of others. Here is a great LINK that describes what we strive to be here on this board. We just want a place to come to here where the people are mature - and we can relax and talk football in a non-confrontational way.
This obviously isn't what a lot of sports posters are looking for. And that's okay. There are a lot of places they can go to, and have that kind of interaction (nothing wrong with that type of board if that's what you like). But yeah, this place is different. Welcome to the board. We appreciate you being here.

This is a good board with good sports fans. It's the only football forum I post to these days. I'm sure I've crossed paths with PackerNation - BANNED on packer boards years ago

Thanks. My bucket list has my wife and I attending a game at Lambeau someday. Maybe we can get together if we ever do. Actually, we just got back from a week in Ephraim, Wisconsin and drove through Green Bay on the way there. That's kind of our getaway area. I like fly fishing and I'm hoping to fish one of the lakes up there.

I would love to see Lambeau as well. That would be awesome if we all could link u some day and watch a game.

Yeah, your name seemed familiar. Yes, for sure we crossed paths at some point. Fan forums are a dying breed. Most of the time when I have a few spare moments to talk football, I am involved in podcasts, or YouTube channels.
Focus right now is getting to 6-2 in Jax. Is it Sunday yet?

Carry on...lol
I'm not surprised that a Packer fan looks to see who the refs are. Packer fans, and their QBs, constantly look for the flag (and have gotten it for 20 years) on every play.
