Brax got dominated yesterday by Jared Verse' bull rushes

Sigh.... We need ONE of these positions to be solid...

What's interesting is that usually a LT struggles with speed/quickness/technique if they do struggle.  Thayer seemed to think Jones' issue is something that can be corrected if he put in the work in the weight room.  He wasn't saying the guy didn't hit the weights, but rather he needs to take it to a higher level.  Brax is a 310 pound man.  He was just dominated physically (bull rush after bull rush) by a 250 pound LB.  

great DE no doubt, but still a rookie, and a vet OT shouldn't get beat like a drum so easily by a rookie. It goes back to what Thayers and others have said, he's gained no strength in the offseason when he needed to put time in the gym to do so. If Watt or another top all pro DE beats him like that, I'm fine, he's a replacement level OT, but he should stand up to rookies, even the really good ones.

I'll take what Thayer and others are seeing, as well as my own eyes. If anything it seems he's gotten weaker.
