I have been adamant since we hired Flus that I wish we would have gotten an Offensive minded head coach. I know it's early but I have seen enough, it's like groundhog day all over. A good defense that fails, an offense that is not functional. Before y'all jump on the OL ask why the bears. Anytime pressure is applied by Defense, OL looks like a turnstyle. I do not believe OL coach Morgan is helping. OC Waldron did well in Seattle and yet nothing has changed.
I do not want to see Caleb become Fields2. Fields is now 3-0 at Pittsburg while we look the same. Defense continues to allow opposing offense to score more than ours, we can't stop a Turtle from penetrating our OL.
Flus is a problem and we need to make changes now. He threw Caleb under the bus calling interception aggressive throw, he left no doubt about his beliefs which are old school believing defense can win. We need to cut ties now with Flus as he is a major part of the problem, identify interim HC from within, find a HC like Ben Johnson from Detroit next off-season. We have the worst coaches in the North and until we change that it's ludicrous to expect anything else to change.

Here is the quote, he is a dinosaur in a modern league. Or better put, a DC masquerading as a HC.

I have a hard time holding Williams accountable for a throw that (1) hit the WR in the hands, (2) DB1 made a good play on and (3) DB2 made a fantastic toe-tipping sideline grab on finish the play.
But thats just me. Of course Flus wants the checkdown, DCs always want their QBs to throw checkdowns.
Of course, [sarcasm] Daniels would have run over there, grabbed the ball from the DB and ran it in himself for a TD. Because Daniels!! [/sarcasm]
Loving the weasel words people are using on Daniels today. Might, could he be, maybe a mistake...this way they are not wrong no matter what the future brings! (Never said definitively, said 'might.')
edit: Sorry, I need to stop listening to sports radio in Chicago.

Those are good points. The Bears finally have a QB that looks legit capable of being good, and maybe even elite. The Bears do need to be decisive here and not waste these Caleb rookie contract years. Don't dink around and waste this golden opportunity we have with Caleb Williams here.

+1000 to that brasil.
It pissed me off hearing Eberflus throw Caleb under the bus there with that comment. The ball hit the WR in both hands there. Both hands. How the hell is that a quarterback's fault? This is the NFL. You gotta catch that ball. Instead it richochet's upwards and behind both players and a D guy gets an int. I think Eberflus is scared. He is in over his head as the coach and he's smelling his firing coming up.

Sadly, as I posted in another thread, I'm climbing up onto the fire Flus bandwagon. I give him the next game to see if he learns ANYTHING. But then the 1st quarter is over* and I'll either jump in or jump down. I fear i'm jumping in though. I haven't seen any improvement in his game management or player usage at all. That 4 down no TD series and the stupid 2-point no 1-point mixup have pushed me one foot off the ledge and my weight is leaning forward . .. . .
*well, 17 games - are there 1/4s of the season anymore? 4 games and a quarter of the 5th? I'm going with the old 4 games is a quarter, the last game doesn't count or is in the final quarter

Or ya'll can pick up torches and pitchforks, storm the castle and demand that ownership sell the team. Go all sox fans on em. Sell your tickets to the oppositions fans. Stop filling the stadium every weekend. Send a message that their time has passed and you're not gonna settle for this crap anymore.
