I was thinking the very same thing. Serious only place? I am quite the opposite. I tend to try (key term there of course is TRY) to inject humor in most of my posts. I am on this board to enjoy myself and talk Bears. The two are not mutually exclusive. I saw a lot of attempts at humor on the old board from many of the new posters. And maybe they are really funny, but I did not really find myself laughing at most of it. Yet here, I have had quite a few chuckles already. I suppose as he says, it comes down to preference. But to say that the board was too serious. I'm not sure honestly if he is trying to describe polite or non-combative or what he is trying to convey, but I do not agree with the serious label.

In any event, a very classy post, and hats off to him for looking it in the eye and addressing it straight on. Almost seriously one might say....

There's a big difference between 'too serious = bland fb only talk ' and every thread being hijacked into blatantly mean-spirited jackhole buffonery and utterly useless stupidity .

I'll put it this way : if Jon Gruden looked at both sites , which one do you think he'd want to be on ? Nuff said .

It's not that they don't appreciate it Soul, it's just that now they don't have enough words left to put out the next edition. They only had a few Zs, a handful of Ys, a couple of Xs. You can't put together a proper dictionary with what you left them.
