'That meeting sparked two lanes of talk show and Twitter discussion: one around Williams’ attitude toward what Stroud was saying, and one around the face that Stroud, a second-year player, dared to give advice to a rookie he’s almost exactly the same age as.
What we didn’t get enough of, in my opinion, is a sensible accounting of what happened and why. So let’s try and do that now instead of talking crazy, shall we?"
But, I guess the body language experts here know better....
Why is this even a thing? (I mean I know the answer: it's the internet) But it's obvious Williams was taking the loss hard. That's a good thing. It shows he cares. Would people prefer if he was all smiles after a loss?
ok, I may be in the minority here and I am not in normal position of supporting another player rather than a Chicago Bear, especially a Bear that I like, but I think Stroud was in the right here. I believe he was sincere in trying to give CQ advice. It's what players do for each other. CW did not seem to want to hear it. Even if he did not, I think he wore that on his sleeve. I think he was wrong. But that's me and I have no issue if people think I am off base on this. It's just how I feel someone should react to someone else trying to help. Whether that person is older, a multiple SB winner or a child. When someone reaches out and tried to help you, I believe you show respect and appreciation for that. Regardless if you agree or are going to take that advice. it is the way I am wired and when I see different, I can't go along with it. Bear or no Bear.

I agree with your take on it. Caleb is maturing and learning all of this stuff in addition to the x's and o's stuff. He should have handled that better but he won't do everything right this year in particular.
