'That meeting sparked two lanes of talk show and Twitter discussion: one around Williams’ attitude toward what Stroud was saying, and one around the face that Stroud, a second-year player, dared to give advice to a rookie he’s almost exactly the same age as.
What we didn’t get enough of, in my opinion, is a sensible accounting of what happened and why. So let’s try and do that now instead of talking crazy, shall we?"
But, I guess the body language experts here know better....
Why is this even a thing? (I mean I know the answer: it's the internet) But it's obvious Williams was taking the loss hard. That's a good thing. It shows he cares. Would people prefer if he was all smiles after a loss?

I totally agree with you. Caleb Williams seems to be hyper-focused on winning, and he hates losing. That intense drive to win is a good thing. But yeah, it is the Internet. People like to manufacture drama.

I still want to know who the heck Stroud thinks he is to be giving advice to a guy only a year younger than him? (I'm not sure of their ages, but meaning a 2nd year vs. a first year.) I want to see Stroud after a few more years - was he a one-year wonder or is he the real deal? There is a long list of guys who were great for a year or two and faded away to oblivion.
Sadly, the Bears are considered underdogs vs the Colts. Not that we haven't earned it, but it's still sad
You tend to be underdogs when your O only scores 1 TD every 2 weeks. Hard to win that way.
................ and your starting QB still hasn't thrown a TD yet too. Can we get a pool going? On which game and what quarter his 1st TD pass will take place? It'll be fun!

Did he? wow, that's pretty arrogant. See what we can do about making him pay for that tomorrow afternoon!!! We got ur back!!! I don't see all the hype around him myself! Like another Lamar Jackson in the making if you ask me.
I know what you are getting at and don't disagree. But you know the Colts are saying the exact same thing about the Bears
If we can’t beat the Colts, it raises the question “Who can we beat on this schedule?”
It also raises the question, “Why the hell did I bet $100 on over 8.5 wins?”
I feel that was a solid bet. Bears O will come around. Too much over-reacting on this board. Monday's ok, Tuesdays fine but 3rd day after a loss ppl need to stay grounded. Shorter preseason, new OC, rookie QB, played against 2 stout D's, and frigging Nate Davis not giving any F's making all 4 OL positions look worse (have any of you watched any breakdowns of him not hitting anyone??). What a bum! Bears O will come around. Hopefully it starts in Indy!

I don't think it was the expected loss to Houston (at least not for me). It was the lack of improvement. However, even playing at the same low level, we should see improvement this week as they are not as good as Houston. But that would not be improvement as much as a better result.
