These new kickoffs sucks. Reminds me of when we used to play pick-up football in the park after school in the park. Seriously, that's how we did kickoffs lol. What's this deal where you have to announce onside kicks? LOL " Excuse me! we're gonna do an onside kick!!! There's an onside kick coming". LOL WTF is that. IDK, kinda hokey.

I hope they don't start making teams give the opponents the plays when they are run
Not trying to be a debbi downer, but I have a feeling we're gonna get crushed tonight...
Given that I was expecting a beat down like the Saints-Cowboys game, I gotta admit that all things considered, it wasn't that bad. We were in the game till the end.

Seems an abundance of stout defenses in the league this year. Vikings, Bears, Texans, Steelers, and i'm missin some.

+1 The Bears usually have a good defense - most years anyway. It is the offense that always seems to be the Achilles Heel for them. Just clueless about offense.

But, that's always been the Bears M.O. AS far as offense They've never been a passing team. But, until recently they've either had a great ground game or a respectable one.
Idk, they just don't have a good blueprint on how to build a KC type offense. If you look at the Chargers they've always predicated their offense on a passing game. Herbert's been a .500 QB up to this season with them. So now they bring in Harbaugh. So far Herbert's 2-0 but next two games are Steelers (road) and Chiefs (home). Pretty interested to see how they do.
Ya got the Colts, Rams, and Jags due up. 3 winless teams so far . Are you excited or nervous? Whoa!! then ya have Commanders, Cards and Patriots. How'd ya get such an easy schedule? lol

LOL, all ya gotta do to get an easy schedule is to lose, and lose a lot. We've got this down to a science.

The upcoming schedule is as cream-puff as it gets in the NFL. Downside is that Bears schedule gets tough as nails starting around mid-November.
NOW is the time to get this shit fixed and get your act together. If they can do that and get rolling a little, I think 10 wins is a possibility.
OTOH, if the Bears jack this up as it appears they might, they're f'd. If they blow a bunch of highly-winnable upcoming games, this season is gonna unravel like a cheap sweater when they hit the hard stuff later on. I could see them going 6-11 too.
Next 6 weeks or so are critical. Must wins coming up.
