I want Garrett. He will be gone at #4. However, as some people believe, a Good GM should be able to get a good player anyway, so maybe even after he gets picked, Pace can pick him anyway and maybe the league will give it to the last team to pick him.
Once he is off the board, he is off the board. Will there still be good players? Absolutely. Will there still be a Garrett level player? I sincerely do not think so.
I would almost have to assume that Garrett will go with one of the first two picks and I'm not familiar enough with Barnett to know whether he rates that high which leaves Allen who may or may not be there either.
If he is he's likely to be a BPA guy and a blue chipper. CWash may only ever be effective as a spot player because he can't stay uninjured and if Houston is cut I'm beginning to wonder if they might not convert Bullard into an OLB instead of a DE.

I agree. When I thought we had the #2 spot (potentially), I was pretty pumped. It allowed us to go after a QB if we thought he deserved to be that high or a true game changing defensive player.
We are going to get a good if not great player at #4 (assuming we stay there), but the three mentioned above could all potentially be gone if the top teams do not feel that there is a QB worth picking with the top three picks. Not likely, however. QBs are so much in demand, that I would be surprised if one was not picked in the top three. Which SHOULD leave us one of these three. Will Pace see whoever is left worthy of the pick? Anyones guess. However, I bet if we had an earlier pick and Garrett was still on the board, Pace would be thinking hard about that pick.
At that pick you simply take the best guy available like the Cowboys did. RB was not there highest need but you don't pass on a kid like Elliot when he's there for the taking and it's paid off well for them.
It's still too early to forecast the QBs IMHO but if one of the top three picks needs one badly enough you can almost mark it down that they'll take him even if that QB doesn't rate that high a grade. That article I posted is all about that and it's why I'm very guarded about using that high a pick on one whose not a sure thing and I don't know that any of these guys are. In fact I tend to say at least two aren't.
I'd pick Allen IF I were to pick a defensive player in rd 1 . But that's not what I hope they do - I wanna see an OT .... and another one in rd 3 ( rd 2 is a QB ) .

+1,000 to that ^^^^^ If there is a special player there for us when we draft, or we can reach for a mediocre QB, Pace better go after that special player.
