All of a sudden, I am seeing several, probably independent, reports about Nate Davis not practicing. It seems that he as been attending all optional and mandatory team activities and other meetings/events. But it seems he has yet to participate in any on-field activities. I am posting one video I saw on YT. But if you go there or on X or other social media, just search for "Nate Davis" and you'll find several others.

Something doesn't seem right. He had issues last year. I would think it would be a point of pride to come out gangbusters this year both for himself and to think the team for giving him the latitude to work on his person issues. Not what I expected.
Maybe they can convert the tackle they drafted to guard.
Or do what Philly may do with JF. Make him return kicks
How can a player in Pittsburg return a kick in Philly?
Bears should have drafted a guard in the first place instead of a tackle. But they converted Jenkins to guard, so maybe they can try the new guy at guard, if Davis is AWOL again.

lol..... You have to have long legs. Yeah... I guess I said Philly. Brain must have stopped working for a sec. Hey, at least I'm in the right state

Its day 1 of team activities, I refuse to worry about any player at this point. I'll start thinking about Nate Davis when camp starts. At that point I'll be starting to lesson plan for the start of school, so actually I won't worry about Nate Davis until news breaks that he is OK or he's been cut/released/replaced.
I want only 1 thing coming out of this week for the Bears:
No injuries. If that happens, it was a good week. everything else that happens this week will be duplicated the first week of TC. Williams will continue to throw to the WR/TE/RB during the rest of the offseason, he'll work cadence, with whatever OLmen he can gather together, etc etc.
The goal for Friday or whenever this camp ends is...NO INJURIES.

Matt Pryor has taken over the job so far in practices. Does Davis think he can just waltz into training camp and play a new offense?
The biggest problem for Williams so far is the cadence. There are reportedly false starts all over the OL. Davis needs to be there along with the rest of them to get the cadence worked out. This stuff takes time.
