McCarthy seems like a guy everyone wants to succeed. Lots of media pushing him up, expect Chris Simms to come out any day now with a video proclaiming JJ to be the best QB prospect of this class. Personally I'm still waiting for Davis Mills to make his comeback as the greatest QB from his class, followed by Mond.
Most years you can simply ignore the late risers who happen to be QBs in a strong QB year.
I am embarrassed to admit that I thought Kellen Mond would be a good QB. His entire NFL career lasted 3 passes. For 5 yards. He didn't play at all last year (practice squad for the Colts). Nobody has signed him since so I guess he is bagging groceries somewhere.

That means he could be the next Kurt Warner. Definitely HOF material!!!

Probably in the minority but I kind of like Chris Simms analysis, not that he's always right. He's just the opposite of Colin Cowherd (cant stand him & his click bait takes, taking strong stances just to say the opposite 2 weeks later when it suits him). I like Simms demeanor and his pov feels well thought out (so much better than his pops at media). Just not sure about the unbuttoned shirt.

+1 I really can't listen to Colin Cowherd. He just grates on my nerves. And he doesn't really seem to know what he's talking about anyway.

Chris Simms bothers me the same way a lot of fans bother me. IMO he takes positions simply so he can stand out from the "herd" (No Cowherd pun intended) of media/draftniks/"experts." Then when it doesn't work out the way he predicted its: well he was injured, he wasn't used properly, bad situation, etc etc.

According to one poster I used to engage with, you can find HOF QBs bagging groceries almost every draft, no need to draft one in the first round (he's since changed his tune on that.)

I'm heading to Kroger's right now. Maybe I'll find a guy so we can spend that 1st draft pick on MHJ. LOL

Thank God. You are doing the board a service by doing a little scouting on the side. Check out the car washes too. That wax on/wax off stuff strengthens the shoulders and forearms. And bring a measuring tape to make sure these new guys measure up to the boards arm length standards.

Same poster is on record on this board as saying you never draft WRs in the first round either. Flip Flop Flip Flop.....Only draft LT/EDGE/CB/3-Tec-NTs in the first. Those were the good ole days....

I just got back from Kroger. Nobody was bagging so I had to. I'm available at pick #1!!!! (or pick 257?)
