It seems he is kind of the Tom Thibodeau of the NFL, he is great in one phase of the game but then after a few years rubs management the wrong way and runs his players into the ground.
He should be at his dream job right now. He can basically do whatever he wants where he is now. He will make plenty of money. He can get all the best recruits. He still has that national media attention. He has full control of the team. Seriously, what more would you want?
I suppose if he's the type that always needs a big challenge then I could see him coming to Chicago to try and fix the mess.
I said it before. If he were to leave, Chicago would be one of the few places that could draw him back. I do not think that he has the buttoned down demeanor that the MsCaskeys look for though. All he does is win. Halas would have hired him in a minute.
Ya but he's not leaving Michigan for Chicago, and Chicago isn't paying Michigan the 10mil payout just to pay him and Fox probably that much combined.
We'll continue being mediocre until we pay for good talent.
Harbaugh is one of the best. You don't win with average coaches. Fox is a great example of that.
Bellicheck wasn't a great talent, nor was Dikta, or Lovie, or Dungy. Amazing how coaches that were not considered great, when they have an excess amount of talent, and normally a great, if not HoF talent QB become great.
Harbaugh I doubt leaves Michigan for 3-4 years, I have no doubt he has goals he wants to see done there before he worries about the pro's again.
