I'm afraid we are screwed on getting good value for him in trade. Unless Cousins stays in Minnesota, maybe NYG or Tennessee are the only other teams that might have an interest. It's looking more and more like Fields is gonna have to compete for a starting job rather than be handed one. We are gonna end up settling for a 3rd round pick which is really disappointing.

I think you're right. Timing is everything and this particular off-season there is a great QB draft and there are some decent options in FA too. The supply and demand thing isn't in our favor this year.

I agree. The dressing room will have to deal with it and wear their big boy pants to work each day. Tell Fields that if he wants to be traded, he must get it together. Or we just make up packages with two QB's on the field that can do both, unlike the Saints because you knew Taysom was running with it everytime.
Why not have fun with it. Borrow some of Nagy's trick plays.

JF's trade value is only going to go down. Poles is going to have to take whatever he can get at this point. How the FA QB situation falls out will probably be what finally determines his trade value.
I don’t see a way to draft Eddie Jackson replacement in this draft. Giants still haven’t signed McKinney. It would be another tough contract negotiation for Poles, but he should look into the situation, if McKinney actually gets to FA. He’s a very good player, but has had some injuries and might fail in the Poles interview process.

I posted this in the FA thread, but maybe it goes here too. Safeties are becoming like RB's (dropping in value). It is insane how many are available right now.
