I don't know if this is a troll thread or just a cry for help?
Perhaps someone should make a "Sign Kap Now for our QB" thread and see.
I know. It does get tiresome. I come here in the morning to talk about the exciting things this team is doing right now. Right now is the key phrase there. We have a historical good draft phase here after the tank season, and first rebuild year of 2023 and back-to-back incredible draft resources that GM Poles harvested for this franchise in 2023-2024.
The arrow could not be pointing more "up" than it is right now for this franchise.
Two top-10 picks of the draft too. Looks like we have a GREAT GM in this Ryan Poles who has orchestrated all of this. We even have the new CEO/President Kevin Warren putting together a plan for a state-of-the-art sports complex and stadium that (for the first time in Bears history) they will own.
But some will choose to drag us (and the Bears team) down. I don't get it. I really don't. Frankly I suspect it's focused on making us all feel bad when we come here to talk about this team that we love. It's a shame.

We all wanna believe that, JABF.
But this is the Bears we are talking about here. They have a well-deserved rep for screwing up and disappointing.
2019 and 2023 were two of the most awful seasons I can remember, even though those teams were both roughly 500 in record. Both times, they looked poised to take a major leap forward and perhaps establish divisional dominance and both times they totally crapped the bed. Primarily because the QB didn't break out like he was supposed to.

I know we are all pretty beaten up by a lot of the past failures on the team. Constantly reliving these past failures ad nauseam serves no purpose other than to make us all feel bad each day, right?
But it is a good time to look forward and not wallow in the past (that we can't change). Harbaugh did not come here. It is over. Constantly bringing up past failures on this messageboard is a buzz kill. It serves zero purpose other than to pull us all down emotionally. JMO.

But do you mind if I keep the kool-aid on the shelf until we see some actual results on the field?

The Lions and Packers are waiting.
You go right ahead and leave your kool-aid on the shelf. Doesn't bother me at all.
However, I'm drinking as much of mine as I can before the expiration date!
LOL, yep, the world as we know it ended when Harbaugh didn't come to the Bears. And somehow Kirk Cousins is now involved in the issue, if I read that Shoutbox correctly. The future of the entire free world... civilization itself, died when Harbaugh went to the Chargers. It is a day that will live in infamy (until later today when MOTM introduces yet another "blast from the past" thing to make our day :-)
