10 - 24 record, 0.294 winning percentage, 2nd lowest in franchise history (behind John Fox 0.291). Coached the Bears to a franchise record 14 game losing streak. 2 - 10 NFC North record past 2 seasons.
vs
Jim Harbaugh
Harbaugh was San Francisco's head coach for four years. During that time, he coached the team to a combined 44-19-1 record. Harbaugh's . 695 winning percentage ranks fifth all-time among NFL head coaches, though his four seasons as an NFL head coach are the fewest of any coach ranked in the top 10.
Why did we pass on such a successful Head Coach without saying we have to pay another head coach for a few more years...

I can’t help feeling they did not want Harbaugh. I don’t pretend to know why. They wanted consistency and that does have some value. I’m not sold on Flus and would have given Harbaugh more consideration than they did but we got what we got.
It's water under the bridge now but I agree with MOTM
Bears had a very, very opportunity with two proven veteran NFL HCs available (BB & Harbaugh) and instead stuck with a completely unaccomplished and un-special incumbent with a terrible record.
I really hope I am wrong but I think history is gonna look back on that decision unkindly.

No BB for me. Harbaugh I was on board with but they didn't ask me.
+1 Pointless crap to put a buzz-kill on our morning here. The ship has sailed. Eberflus is our coach. This is our team. It reminds me of that moment in the "Hoosiers" film. This is our team. If people can't deal with it then that's on them. I think the Bears are putting together the best team we have seen here in quite a while - one that is being built with young ascending talent (coaches and players) and one that should be able to sustain success here for many years.
But for those who choose to wallow in the past and feel bad about this team - well too bad for them. This is our team. It would be kindof nice to support our team.
