I guess an agent is always a good thing but as an outsider I question how critical it is as a rookie. With pay slotted by pick and pretty standard contracts, is it that critical for a rookie.
I kind of think it is especially as we hear things about medical records being held up, wanting ownership…. I guess I’m still on the fence about whether or not he’s the right choice.

Me too. In the end, he seems like the best performing QB in this class. Whether or not he will be good in the NFL or even as good as Fields is an unknown
I’ll say the same applies to Carter. He played extremely well this year, and he was not a locker room distraction.
The difference is between a guy like Carter you have legal issues. That's different than a diva, like an Aaron Rodgers. AR might bury himself in an underground hole and meditate but he's not going to end up in jail for legal woes. Carter still seems like a bit of a risk to me. And frankly, I don't see Caleb as a diva. I don't. The guy put some limits on a physical. The sky hasn't fallen here. Fans need to get a grip. He will have a physical.

2. The right-hand photo shows a skylight/escape hatch with a ladder, the bird's-eye view has no apparent skylight/escape hatch.
3. The rugs are different in the two photos.
4. The paint/wallpaper is different in the two photos.

These are probably stock photos. The real door opens up into a 15,000 sq ft estate with servants.

I don't know, BIH, the dude is blind and can't pass over the incoming D-line guys with those arms. But. Maybe he just burrows under the OL and comes up on the other side for short gains... could be GREAT in a West Coast offense that way. But do you spend the 1st overall pick of the draft on this blind, short armed digger-dude guy?

Carter’s legally liability was resolved well before the draft. Poles should have drafted him.
There is a report that Williams said he would not provide medical except with teams he visits. So the Bears invited him to come for private workout, interview, and medical right after the combine. His (“team” father?) refused. So there will no medical provided before his Pro Day (3/20). Poles didn’t want to trade Fields before Williams evaluation is completely locked down. And no GM will trade up to #1 without having Williams pass medical and interview. The net effect is that Poles isn’t likely to be able to trade the #1 pick or Fields before the END of the first week of free agency. That hurts the Bears..
I don't think the Bears would be able to trade Fields before then anyway, as there's other dominoes that need to fall in order for teams to compete for Fields.

Fields clearly isn't any team's #1 target right now. Baker is re-signing and after Cousins makes a deal hopefully Fields will gain some value.
