Anyone finding they're warming to the Bears drafting Caleb?

Fields and the O (actually the whole damn team) really sucked early in the season.  JF had one big game in Washington in which Moore had like 150 yards in YAC on some sick runs-after-catch.  He was awful otherwise.

Then he got hurt.  When he came back, he had the final 7 games to seize the job for next year with an improved defense.

He had one really good game (vs ATL)
The rest were all so-so to crappy.  

1st Detroit game he had a passer rating of > 100 but only 169 yards.  Again had the ball late with a chance to win (after the D cratered) but couldn't.  Beat the Vikings (with no Jefferson and Dobbs at QB) without the O scoring a single TD. 

Grand total of all 7 games during this "resurgence" was:
194 yrds/game, 5 TDs & 3 INTs, avg rating of 85.2 

These stats are almost exactly equal to his overall career averages.  He throws for <200 yards/game with a passer rating of ~85 (same at Mitch).

He needed to ball out wayyyyyy better than that the last 7 games, beating GB and outplaying Love in week 18 too, to make a strong case for sticking with him IMO.  His late season "improvement" was minimal.

Fields is playing my good man. Until he screws up, and then some more.
