If I remember correctly you mocked GB for how they treated the offseason, I liked it, you cannot attempt to argue. Big difference, GB knew what Love was and what he needed, and went all in on it. Bears have never, outside of 2 years w/Trestman, gone all in to build around the QB.
Joe's>X's and O's, you cannot argue w/the NFL coach that said that. No system works w/scrubs. Bellecheck was nothing w/out having a HoF QB before or after, you cannot argue that.
There is no argument that some systems don't scheme guys open, the very thought process is moronic at it's base and I don't believe you actually believe it, other than needing to, to justify thinking Fields isn't a big piece of he problem.
No, I didn't mock their off season. I mocked PT for saying they had better players than the Jets. I said repeatedly that I liked Reed and Wicks when they were drafted, but that they hadn't proven a thing yet in the NFL. That statement wasn't false. They were unknowns. I also liked the tight ends they drafted. I took Musgrave on multiple fantasy teams this year. I'd also say if Green Bay REALLY knew what Love was they wouldn't have given him that hedge contract that they gave him. I agree that they Bears need to go all in on supporting the QB though...I've said that over and over again for a long time. This team needs more weapons. I've also been told repeatedly that the Bears apparently had enough...so which is it?
Tell me, how was Getsy scheming guys open on a consistent basis? I've offered lots of evidence from watching All 22 film that he wasn't...what do you have that he was?
Come on Butkus. Anyone can figure this out. We have enough of the weapons we don't have.

Dafuq you didn't. Right after the draft, and even during I was saying I liked how they were going after the TE's and WR's, and you, and others thought it was a joke.
Tell me how an undrafted Rookie from div 3 was able to make his O work, finding guys open and your stud cannot.

You're gonna have to find the specific quotes of me doing that then. The only possible thing I could imagine pointing out was the irony of them finally drafting offensive weapons when Rodgers left, when thats all he ever complained about.
And what did he make work? He threw for under 200 yards a game and twice as many int's as td's. Lets not pretend this offense was unlocked when Bagent was playing. It wasn't.

the quotes that got buried in the chat during the draft? cannot happen, but I remember it really well, just like you insisting there wouldn't be a DL/edge taken in the top 10 of this upcoming draft.

Yeah...I don't think so. I'm not even sure who I would have made fun of them passing up in the first round, and I still may be right about an edge not being taken in the top 10.

The Athletic and other mocks have us taking Dallas Turner at #9. Supposed to be the best Edge rusher.

I actually like Jared Verse better, but yeah I've seen that. We'll see what happens with that pick. What receiver is available? Is Brock Bowers available? Do the Bears want a true 3 tech and take Newton? Do they trade back? Either way, the first edge being taken at 9 is pretty damn close to me being correct.

It was them taking the wrs in the later rounds
But I liked those receivers...so not sure why I would mock them for taking them.
