I'm going to take a wild ass guess at the QB situation

I'm honestly totally up in the air as to what they will do. The organizational track record says they will pair a lame duck HC + new OC with a rookie QB taken early.

If I had to rank them in the order I think the organization will consider the options it would look like this:
(1) Draft a QB at #1 (the mpbears68 option)
(2) Trade down, trade Fields, draft a QB around pick #9 (the Mahomes option)
(3) Trade down, ride Fields draft a QB in 2nd round (the Dak option)
(4) Trade down, ride Fields draft a QB next year. (the grass is always greener next year option)
(5) Trade down, ride Fields, bring in one of the mythical mid-range starters just sitting on the street as backup to the quick hook Fields will have. (We'll call this the Gannon Option)

I've listened to the Bears videos yesterday and have been thinking about them. After rubbing my crystal balls, I think they will stay with Fields for next year and trade the first pick.

They might pick a QB but it won't be with a top pick. Of course, given my record of being right vs being wrong, I would go out and bet that they draft a QB with the first pick. But a few things kind of led me to believe that they were leaning towards keeping him. I am really interested to see how this plays out
