We're in the situation we're in because ownership refuses to keep their hands off the bears and let football guys do their job. Poles is just bad at his job. We have arguably gotten worse outside of WR for every position since he became GM. You can't hold onto people just for the sake of holding onto them. That's how we held onto Lovie too long. We're seeing that with the Patriots right now. Bill Belichick style of football and his drafting doesn't work well in the modern NFL and we're seeing that now. Do you hold onto because he won 6 Super Bowls when he's had a losing record since letting Brady go? 

There is no doubt that (our) ownership is the problem.
But I must admit, for now, I dont see Poles as just bad at his job. Maybe I soon will, def. not out of the question. But tbh I would need at least one more year to come to that conclusion.

Ownership picks GM. Both are a problem but ownership has been a problem since the 1980's...
