But that brings up yet another thing that pisses me off about Poles.  The guy talked a big story about how he valued the offensive line - when he came here.  Granted, he drafted Wright at RT and I do like that move.  But he did not do enough.  He gambled that Jenkins was not a glass-man - and he lost that gamble.  And how on earth did he think Lucas Patrick belonged on an NFL roster?  The guy is blowing chunks bad.  That last game he was on his back wiggling his arms and legs like a dying cockroach... that play was the "visual" I will always have about Patrick... the dude looked downright effeminate.  Embarrassing to watch him being tossed aside like a rag doll.  Poles rolled the dice on Brax and in fairness I could see him as a Leno-level player (not bad but not good either, a JAG guy).  Whitehair is done.  Stick a fork in him because he is truly done as an NFL starter quality guy.  Nate Davis might be okay.  Time will tell.  But the OL we sailed with this season was not what it should have been.  It should have been better.  

I put Patrick on Flus. Flus has to tell Poles who he wants and doesn’t want. 

Maybe. But it might be a Getsy influence bringing a couple Packer offensive players along with him and selling Poles.  Flus is more likely the culprit for the Colts he brought in or tried to.

I would have drafted a center.  Why didn’t Poles?  I think part of his player evaluation weakness is that he looks at a position like center and figures he has all he needs there.
