Poles got it done. Glad it's a 1 year deal too. See how it works or doesn't work before you commit to anything beyond this season... especially since the Bears can draft a real stud edge rusher in next years draft. They have 2 first round picks, so I've gotta think one of those is going towards an edge guy. Anyway. Kudos to Poles.
Yea I like the one year deal too. If Fields improves as is a true qb1, we draft edge. If not, we can resign Ngakoue and draft a new qb keeping us in a pretty decent position on the rebuild.

Peter King's take on the 2023 Bears.
Some interesting observations. Especially Tyrique Stevenson. I really like that pick. But, I have been seeing him being noticed by a lot of non-Bear media folks as a potential new defensive star.
There was also a twitter thing about some packer writers confusing Walker with Fields and trying to claim they weren't serious. I can't find that but I've been told its hysterical.

We need to be patient and see how the new roster develops. But if what we saw in PS game #1 is at all representative of what we will see for the rest of 2023, I am really going to relish seeing the doubters, haters etc having to eat their words. But I suspect that if this plays out, they will just stop talking about it and go on like nothing ever happened.
