With FA almost here, things will be heating up soon and its about to get real. Thought we should have a new thread dedicated exclusively to FA.
Just read this article below and, while I don't agree with everything inside, I'm fully on board with top few targets.
Dre'Mont Jones and Mike McGlinchey are about as close to "must-haves" as I can think for this FA. In 2 weeks, both these guys need to be Bears. I'd love to get Zach Allen as well if the Cards are dumb enough to let him walk (and trust me, I live here in AZ and the Cards organization isn't bright).

Good idea. The other "all inclusive" thread has over 68 pages of posts now, with FA mixed in with mocks and draft things. Thanks for making the thread. I'll sticky it here.
This KC article says he's really streaky. He can be very good in some games and suck in others - especially against the better speed rushers. Better at run blocking than pass protection. He had a horrific (historically horrific) combine; "His 40-yard dash time was the slowest among any prospect at the combine and was described as a "historically bad time" by NFL analyst Mike Mayock. He also finished last in the bench press, vertical jump, and broad jump among all offensive linemen at the combine." Just a slow dude and not very strong at all (14 reps on the bench press... wide receivers can put up better bench numbers than that... Claypool did 19). He was a 3rd round draft pick by the Ravens who traded him after 3 seasons. KC picked him up and he has been in the Pro Bowl but never an All Pro. If he was really good KC would keep him. JMO.
LINK Let’s face the truth about Chiefs left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. Brown is much like a streaky hitter in baseball. For a period of time, they can look like one of the top performers in the league — and at other times, they can play very poorly. But when you examine their numbers at the end of the year, they turn out to be near the league average.
As we ride the highs and lows of his seasons, Brown is no different. His full body of work shows us exactly who he is: an average left tackle who struggles against speed rushers, can dominate power rushers and is an above-average run blocker.
With so many glaring holes... I would pass. LT could be the only position on OL we have settled for next season. RG is still a question mark cos of those naggin injuries.

I'm gonna pass too. Looking more at RT types like McGlinchey
I think he'd be a decent (not great but decent) addition to the OL at RT. He just turned 28. Bears offensive line coach Chris Morgan was McGary’s first position coach in the NFL after Atlanta drafted him with the 31st pick in 2019. I know he's a much better run blocker than pass protector, but he did improve last year as a pass blocker. He does seem to have limitations pass blocking though.

Saw some speculations McG is gonna be 20mil per year... for that - another pass. Guy is not that good. 12mil per should be his area.
