So you'd just let him walk as a UFA getting nothing in return for one of the best WR in the NFL huh? Why bother to draft anyone if after you finally develop a player into a top guy you just let him walk? Why not just trade the picks for a bunch of cheaper vets? The Bears don't hold all the cards either. Not when White has yet to prove he's anything more than an oft injured bust and he rest of your receiver core is mostly a collection of #3 type guys who either have had their share of injuries or are even less productive than AJ has proven he can be.
He'll get paid. The only questions are how much and by who.
You can't expect teams to trade for a FT player or even a player who's overpaid with a bad contract. Remember the Cutler situation with the Titans?
Bears have a great young player in Meredith and Wilson seems to be able to do all them jump balls like Jeffery does. Sorry but we don't need AJ.
2) Of course teams will trade for a FT player. They can trade for anyone. AJ wasn't an ERFA player so he and his agent could negotiate with anyone last spring and if we did the same this year he would once again have that right. If they strike a deal on a longer term deal with Team A and the Bears are willing to accept what they offer in trade in lieu of two 1st round picks then then they make the trade.
Monsters you really need to get off your duff and do some studying so you know the ins and out of what does and doesn't happen or can and can't take place. 99% of what you post about is based on not knowing the facts so your posts are full of inaccuracies.
Wilson? The guy has missed more time than AJ and he's not even under contract for 2017 either.
Meredith looks like he could be a good #3 WR backing AJ and KW provided KW heals again and gets his shit together but he's not a #1 WR and isn't likely to ever be.
So let's see if I get this right. Your approach is to let Cutler and our best WR go replacing them with an untested rookie QB, a 7th rd draft pick, and an UDFA as his top WRs.
Welcome back to the 1990s or worse. LOLOL
