You take Cutler, Royal, and Houston out of the equation as some have speculated (to include me) and it gives you 24M to subtract. That leaves with a CAP of 164M so you have 70M which is still a tidy sum.
Last figure I saw was $63 mil but this early that always a guess. But what good does it do if Pace won't spend it and some higher end talent. At a point in time there has to be those one or two players who are the playmakers and difference makers you need.

70 mil is nice, but it gets eaten up quickly when you need to get 1 or 2 WR's, at least 3 DB's and need to resign Barkley or Hoyer, and might need to add more depth w/another DE and another TE.
right now the only 2 groups that don't need touched are RB and OL. That OL is beaten up on it's 2nd OC, and 2nd and 3rd OG's and they still look very strong. RB speaks for itself, if one falls in your lap go for it, but it's just icing on the cake at that point.

Yup, in just looking at overthecap it will cost approximately 28-29M if we were to go out and make the following splash: 1. Resign AJ to the tune of 14-15M yearly. 2. Sign one of the top 2 CB's on the market for 12-14M or more depending on market (Norman has the highest AAV at 15M). So that could be even as much as 30M gone. It goes quickly but as Soul pointed out Pace has yet to really commit megabucks to any one player or contract.
The Cardinals just released Michael Floyd after his DUI arrest yesterday. Would anyone consider going after him at all? He does have some talent as a WR.
