Adam Thielen is about to be released. No health issues with him that I know of. He'd cost no draft capital.
Ya it looks like the Vikes are starting to do a soft build. I read that they are shopping Delvin Cook. As for other RB's Buffalo might be nabbing Derrick Henry.
A changing of the guards in the NFC North it seems.

Yep
Lotta people thought Vikes were pretenders last year and the playoffs proved them correct. They're tight on cap with an aging roster and a crap defense. Sound familiar?
Big difference between them and us a year ago is Minnesota actually has (had) an offense. But that Cousins contract is gonna drag them down and they're now starting to lose pieces off the O.
Crazy as it seems, Detroit and the Bears may be the future of the NFCN for the next 5 years. Minnesota and Green Bay seem to be on the decline.
Gonna pass on Thielen. He's 33 and well past his best years. He offers nothing we don't already have in younger players (Mooney & CC).
No surprise.
He's likely a #3 WR at this point in his career. #2 at best. We already have those. And you don't sign 33yo FAs when you're starting a major rebuild. If your roster is pretty stacked and you just need a an extra piece of two for depth, yeah that's a different discussion.

It'd be fine for a 1-2 yr contract, but I agree w/your last 2 posts. This isn't a good signing for the Bears. Seems Like they are trying to stay young by their signings also.
My fav WR in this draft is definitely Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Bears won't go WR with that #9 pick (and shouldn't) but I sure wouldn't be upset if they did draft this guy. He would be pure lethal here with D.J. Moore.
