David Montgomery is an Inefficient Running Back.

Fantasy Football is make believe. That's crazy. Reminds me of people committing suicide or murder when they were getting "defriended" on whatever platform does that. People need to invest in themselves as their own self worth. Don't worry so much about what others think.

This is just one example as to why my activity on all forms of social media has dropped to about 10% of what it was 4 or 5 years ago.

The sports postings I see on YT, X, etc have become so abusive, toxic, partisan, etc that they are fast approaching the level of our political discourse on social media.

To go off on a bit of a tangent on this, one area of interest I have has been spending time on some of the more well thought out and professional "True Crime" channels on YT and some blog sites.  I have found a number of forensic/criminal psychologists and psychiatrists who have made their careers in studying the behaviors commonly called "online bullying".  If you read up on this topic, it gets pretty scary really quickly.  Many of these people develop a secondary for of predatory narcissistic psychopathy and they can do real harm to their targets.  And it is largely based on the anonymity inherent with most social media platforms. 

Getting back to David Montgomery, just because you are a rough and tough pro football running back doesn't mean you aren't vulnerable and even fragile in some ways. I liked this guy while he was a Bear, and I wish him the best possible career and life.  No one deserves this kind of abuse.
