Aaron Rodgers and also Cobb coming back to GB sucks for the Bears. I really don't like Cobb coming back. Rodgers has a loaded O this year. Just loaded with talent.
Yeah, GB is going to be tough this season.
I hope the Bears can load up the skill players on O for Fields, especially if Allen Robinson leaves at the end of this season.
I think this part from that article pretty much sums it up:
"And at a time when some are twisting themselves in knots to characterize this as some sort of a major win for Rodgers, it’s not. It’s definitely not.
Make no mistake about it. Rodgers caved. Rodgers folded. Rodgers surrendered.
Once the restructured deal between the Packers and Rodgers becomes official, the Packers get their franchise quarterback. Rodgers gets (checks notes) the 2023 season of his current deal removed.
That’s it. That’s all he’s getting that he wasn’t already entitled to receive. Sure, they’ll convert a large chunk of his 2021 salary of $14.6 million into a guaranteed payment. That’s something the Packers automatically could have done in March, and which they would have done if he wasn’t making noise behind the scenes about wanting out. Besides, the guarantee means nothing. It’s not like they were going to cut him; he was getting that $14.6 million this year simply by showing up...

Bottom line? It’s a huge win for the Packers"
No question he CAVED. He got very little and is now crawling back to camp.

This hurts future players and their ability to force the teams hand also. If a player the lvl of Rogers does this and caves, other teams will assume other top players will also. Rogers showed that your top players have to much to lose.
Players w/smaller contracts can afford to, but your top players w/top contracts will be seen as unwilling to just walk away.
I wouldn't say he exactly "caved" as much as the national media blew the story out of proportion. Sure Rodgers didn't get anything per se, but he got managements attention he he wants a say how he finishes his career. No tag, no trade clause, cut off the the one season. Seems like nothing, except what if Love isn't the real deal and the Packers want to keep him? GB can't jerk him around again.
Really, that seems like the idea with Rus and Rodgers, make a stink now to influence the future. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it, haha.

GB will have a dominant offense... The question is has their run defense improved. I don't see how it has... And our new DC is a failed Detroit retread...
Texans only got a 6th and have to pay part of Cobb's salary? SMH.
Don't really understand the obsession over Cobb. He's 31 and really hasn't been a "special player" in several years.
What's the big deal?
Rodgers wanted him back apparently and the Packers said they would trade for him. Houston had their chance and blew it. I'd would have declared Cobb my #1 and a player we we're building around and demanded a first and a second.
