Can the Bears still make the playoffs?

They would have IMO to get to 10-6 OR win the division. Neither is likely.

So tell me honestly.  Do you really believe that or are you just trolling for more debate about this?  The majority don't agree with that approach and have bested your viewpoints about it at nearly every turn.  Do you have anything new to add?

I love debating most anything but when I do as best I can I will present at least some acceptable facts and make an attempt to back it up.  You're facts change with the wind from post to post depending on how you want to slant it this time and many have called you out for that.  I have called you out for that too.

You can't have it both ways brother so take a stand, defend it, and stop flip flopping when it suits you to do it or let it go.  Your own poll seeks opinions and those opinions are two to one against the approach you favor.  You're continuing to again.

Posts like this with nothing more to add are useless simply baiting others for more debate with you in yet another thread.  I don't look on them as worthwhile posts at all so either offer some reasoning to support this or stop just dropping one liners that simply express an opinion we already know you have just to raise this same issue again.

No, I'm saying NFL teams don't intentionally tank their season for a specific draft slot and that a simple one line post voiced like yours in this thread on a topic being thoroughly debated in another thread is on the borderline of simply trolling for more debate about that here.

Your response isn't on topic.  No one asked whether we should.  The question asked is can we.  Your response is the type of diversion from what's being asked by the OP that often plagued threads at DBS.  So, I was simply asking you not to do that in this thread and to stay on topic.

If you want to start yet another thread about losing out so we can draft Trubisky now when it was Myles Garrett before you can do that.  No one will object, least of all me. I love new threads.  I live for new threads.  They're the life blood of a forum.

But I do have to object when you post in another members thread in a way that takes it off topic like you were attempting to do intentional or not.

Of course they have a chance to make the playoffs. They had a solid chance last year too. I don't think they will and is beyond likely but there's always a chance. If they did make the playoffs it would be one of the best playoff runs in NFL history. I think it's one of those years where Chicago is sticking it to the history books so who knows.
