Cuts so far are pretty meh...exception might Dunlap the DE from Seattle
Kevin Zeitler, Emmanuel Sanders, and Kwon Alexander were cut and so was Reilly Reiff today by Minnesota. How often does a solid, healthy starting LT get cut? Guy gave up 2 sacks and 1 penalty in 15 starts last year.
Was listening to NFL Radio today. Said good players--true "starters"--getting cut and yes it is more than usual. Also said teams have been holding on for a while hoping to get some value in trades or convince players to take a salary reduction but now reality is coming home to roost. No one is willing to give up much in trade knowing these players are gonna shake lose anyway with so many teams over the cap. Expect a flood of additional cuts in coming days as we approach the start of the new league year next week.
If Ryan Pace was hoping he could squeeze a late round pick out of someone for Jimmy Graham, he's wasting his time. Get on with it and release him already.

I was just commenting that as of when I posted the blood-letting hadn't started yet. I also assumed that teams where trying to drum up trade interest before letting people go.
I hoping for a S to pair with Jackson and maybe a DT/NT on a one year rental. I thinking I'll be shocked if Pace makes any big moves.
SI Draft Bible had this..,.which made me chuckle:
Russell Wilson QB, Tyler Lockett WR, Quandre Diggs S, and 2023 3rd Round Pick from Seattle Seahawks to Bears for Jaylon Johnson CB, Anthony Miller WR, Akiem Hicks DT, 2021 1st Round Pick (#9), 2021 3rd Round Pick (#83), 2022 1st Round Pick, 2022 3rd Round Pick, and 2023 1st Round Pick.
Here was their projection for the Bears OFF (losing Robinson by the way):
Total Haul: Bears
Corey Davis: WR, Tennessee Titans Gabe Jackson: OG, Las Vegas Raiders Russell Wilson: QB, Seattle Seahawks (Trade) Tyler Lockett: WR, Seattle Seahawks (Trade) Quandre Diggs: S, Seattle Seahawks (Trade)
2nd Round: Levi Onwuzurike: DT, Washington 5th Round: Simi Fehoko: WR, Stanford 6th Round: Nashon Wright: CB, Oregon State 6th Round: Jaylon Moore: OT/OG, Western Michigan 6th Round: Richard LeCounte III: S, Georgia 7th Round: Isaiahh Loudermilk: DT, Wisconsin
Grade: A
Ryan Pace may just win Executive of the Year as he pryed Russell Wilson away from Seattle in a blockbuster trade, which also saw them land Tyler Lockett and Quandre Diggs in the haul. The salary cap will need to be manipulated with some extensions and restructures but the quality of talent on this roster with Wilson under center has them right on the precipice of a Super Bowl run. They also signed burly veteran Gabe Jackson to lead the offensive line and added big-bodied wide out Corey Davis to ease the loss of Allen Robinson. With the rest of their picks left after the Wilson trade, the Bears reinforce the defense with a pair of talented defensive lineman, a huge cornerback that transitioned from wide receiver, an instinctive safety, a versatile offensive lineman and a tall, athletic pass-catcher in Fehoko, who Wilson will try to get to emulate his former freakish outside wide out D.K. Metcalf.
