Ebron/Eifert cannot stay healthy if you cannot stay healthy you aren't likely going to get paid. Jimmy doesn't tend to miss to many games.
As much as I didn't the Graham signing, I will say in Pace's defense:
A) Graham is nothing like he used to be but he's still a steady producer. Will get you 400 yards and 5 TDs. He's "reliable" which is better than our entire TE-group last year combined.
B) He's been durable for years. Ebron, Burton, Shaheen....all spend way too much time on the injured list over the years.
C) Graham didn't count against the comp pick formuls since he was released, Ebron would
You guys make me feel better. Super Bowl it is! Cant wait for the draft

Didn't know Graham had a rep for being durable, works for me!
In 10 seasons he's missed more then 1 game 1 times, in 2015 when he missed 5 or 6.
I think the Bears probably were in on Hooper but, like I tried to tell people all offseason they don't have the cap to get into bidding wars w/top FA's.

I'm no fan of it, but I've long given up being happy or angry about moves a team makes. I just try and understand them and what the motivations might have been.

+1
And I think understanding the moves is often difficult because at this point in time we don't know the full plan Pace has to craft the entire roster for 2020. We often look at a single roster move in terms of a vacuum - and we don't see what is about to happen down the line. Players will come and go before the 1st regular season game. So I am trying not to over-react either way, on this Graham thing. We'll just have to wait and see how the season goes before we really know anything definitive on all of these moves. Some will prove good and others bad.

*** I just hope we HAVE a season
I was talking to a neighbor over an old fashioned(ya I'm learning to make them and wanted outside opinion) about how Im afriad my kids will lose their baseball/softball season. For my daughter I'm not that worried, but my son, he's 14 about to be 15, he is likely got 3-4 years at best, he started late and won't make a hs baseball team, so these last few years I really wanted him to enjoy b/c its the one sport he really likes playing.

I guess we’ll see. I’m not a huge fan of the move, but I get it and hope it pays off. We need weapons, period. Hopefully we can target an addition in the draft. A lot of neat stories with guys like Horsted and Holtz popping in to say hello, but no one intrigued me enough to not upgrade the pipeline. Damn shame about Shaheen. He looked good early and never again. There’s always hope.
I know Sanders isn't all he used to be either, and he didn't want to come to Chicago. Most likely gave the Saints a "Bree's Discount" as well. Just interesting to me.

I knew Shaneen had an uphill battle. But he did look good early, and when Fox wouldn't use him and kept trotting out everyone else, I wondered what was going on.
