This popped up while I was on FB while on vacation. Most interesting thing was it had the Bears drafting 5th. I would have guessed higher, w/all the injuries I'm guessing top 3. The other thing was that Garrett wasn't the first pick off the board; or 2nd, he was the 2nd Def player, 3rd overall, w/Kizer going first and Malik McDowell going 2nd.
McDowell, if available could be the answer at DE for the Bears, who definitely need someone lining up on the other side of Hicks. Corny and Mitch are invisible most games, and when you see them it's a 50/50 chance they aren't doing something good(if not better then 50/50). Having a young stud DE would do wonders to help w/team, including the pass rush. Also of notie 3 of the top 5 are all QB's also, showing you that this years's QB class appears to be stronger then recent history.

Kaaya at #5? As of now, this would be a reach. In this draft, I'd take Allen and be happy with him. Our DL would be deadly and with some good depth. I'm calling Allen or Peppers as our 1st pick and Trubinsky as our 2nd pick of the draft.
Impossible to know who the Bears will draft right now. I wouldn't be against Peppers either, that guy makes plays all over the field. But it all depends on where they draft. If top 3, then Allen or Peppers would be a reach.
btw, I like Kaaya more then the Clemson QB, so I don't think he'd be a reach as a top 5. That Mayfield kid out of Oklahoma, if he comes out would be a nice pick also, not sure if he will, or where he'd go though.
I was checking out WalterFootball to see what their draft projections were and they had the Bears picking third. At the time of the last draft they had the Bears picking number one overall and taking Watson. Having the Bears picking third was not surprising but what was is that they had the Panthers picking second. The Browns were first not surprisingly.

There is a good shot that if the Browns/Panthers pick 1-2 the top 2 picks are def players. Really depends on how the Browns still feel about RGIII. That is a team that has passed on QB's w/the first pick only to trade back into the first to get one later. You can see how well that's worked for them though, so maybe they wise up and take a qb.
Right now my goal is Garrett in the draft because I just don't like any of the considered top 10 of QBs this year. A lot is going to change before the draft though.
