I want Hoyer to play against GB then Minny so everyone can see He's not it Put him up against better D's then judge him
WTF!!!!!
Scotty he got outplayed by Blake fucking Bortles today after Bortles spotted him 3 quarters. Bortles didn't have a 3rd down conversion in the entire 3rd quarter but Hoyer didn't have one in the entire second half?
Hoyer couldn't even score points against defense as porous as Dallas, Detroit, and Indy and couldn't score in the second half today even given a short field after a great play by Willie Young to give him that! He had AJ open in the end zone and threw 5 yards behind him!
Are you drunk, stoned, or just f'n crazy? How much more do you need to see of him to realize why he's been with so many teams and failed as a starter where ever he's been? Do you need to see the whole zebra to be able to describe it's coat too?
Keep in mind that the team hasn't given up on its' coaching... yet... it may not...
I'm actually expecting them not to while many other Bears fans beside me decide to check out 'til they get serious about running the team correctly again. I can't support the Chicago "Browns" and that's what we're becoming.
They need some plays that push the ball down the field, they are married to this ""dink and dunk" style of offense regardless of where we are on the field or on the scoreboard. If he cant throw the ball well over 10 yards I hope he never expects to be anything more than a backup for the rest of his life
So are most of us finally beginning to accept that he doesn't have an NFL arm? I think I pointed that out at least two games ago but got a lot of resistance to it.
Last week I said that regardless of how open AJ was on that 4th down play Hoyer could not have made that throw with enough on it to assure a score and THAT is why he chose not to throw it and not the BS reason he gave about mis-reading coverage. I got flack over that too.
Once any team figures out what throws he can actually make in the game, they adjust to them like JAX did and take them away, he's screwed and his production plummets. He was 7-10 on 3rd downs (70%) in the first half and 0-7 (nada) in the second half. What I've been saying makes some sense now doesn't it?
He couldn't even out play Blake Bortles today for cripes sake after Bortles spotted him the entire first three quarters of the game! Can't wait to hear what Foxy has to say about his self-manufactured QB controversy this week. Hell, I hope Hoyer can start the next to games as well and put the final nails in both his and Fox's coffin.
Fox has to go.
I believe most here already knew Hoyer didn't have a NFL arm.
The problem is our QBs are terrible. Its either have a guy who has the arm but makes poor decisions or have a guy who can't throw that far and has yet to thrown a pick? I don't know how much blame can be put on Hoyer seeing how strong they started in the 1st half yet in the 2nd half nothing happen. It felt like Fox and Co didn't attempt to make half time adjustments like the Jags did.
I'm all for Fox going as well but I'm all for tanking for that top 3 pick. Looks like we're doing both. Finally we can officially start this rebuild.

After the Trestman debacle I never thought this team would be here but this really feels like rock bottom! Fox is a veteran coach and therefore he is much more savvy with the media than Trestman and Pace got rid of any player that might go public with some honesty and constructive criticism - you know...the "trouble makers". But don't let Fox/Pace fool you into thinking things were worse with Trestman just because they have a grip on player relations with the media outlets - this team is much worse and somehow without a significant gain of promising young talent. We are down there with the Browns, 49ers & Jags but at least those teams can each say the are >$40 million under the cap. The mismanagement of this organization (using the term organization loosely) has the Bears sitting between the Steelers and the Seahawks at $6.4M under the cap. It's certainly a sad state.

You are right Billy, but please take into account that our big cap hits are not on the field: Jay 17 mil McPhee 7,7 mil Houston 7 mil White 3,6...

Then gimme the guy with balls big enough to at least try to win games for his team AND take all the heat when it doesn't work. Gimme the guy who doesn't dump the ball off for a 6 yard gain on 3rd and 16 with the clock running needing to get 20 yards or more to get into FG range.
Gimme the guy who would have made that throw to AJ last week and at least taken a shot at winning because at least HE could make that throw and the one who'd had enough velocity on that 4th down throw today to get it to AJ before Ramsey could recover and break it up.
Gimme that guy whose in the top 25% of all current and historical NFL QBs at come from behind 4th quarter wins. The guy with a better TD ratio than a HOF QB like John Elway and a better Int. ratio than Brett Favre another HOF QB who didn't let too many picks stand in the way if winning a shit load of games for GB and never had fans bitching so much because of those picks.
The problem is most ****ing Bears fans wouldn't know what a decent QB looked like if he was biting them in the ass and yet the like to believe they're experts at it. To think that we have any talent whatsoever in drafting and developing them is an even bigger lunacy. Historically speaking since about 1950 or so we've been one of the worst teams in the entire NFL at the QB position. Cutler is a ****ing God next to most of them but let's trade him because we don't win with him.
The reason we don't win is because we've had a lot of horse shit teams and horse shit head coaches and a horse shit front office. That's the main reason we haven't won consistently for 30 years. Hell Cutler was still in grade school when these problems last began and the way it's looking now I'm goin' out tomorrow and start shopping for saddles and hay for the horses asses that are running this team now and a front end loader to clean up the crap they've been laying in our path as fans.

This is true. At the same time no one had missed more talent to start the first 4 weeks than NE and they weathered the storm against better teams. Minnesota has had it's injuries, so has the Dallas Cowboys. No team has had season ending injuries like the Chargers. It seems like every year the blame is on injuries with this club but then I look at the Bears talent on IR and it doesn't compare to other team's talent on IR and with much better records.
The direction needle of the Bears is feeling a lot like the Bulls (wtf is Gar/Pax doing? lmao)

Also, I can't figure out who is more deserving Fox/Loggains or Hoyer for this deflated game ball.
So far for the season Pace for dumping everyone that might be critical of him or his coaching staff including Gould for Connor Barth. I am completely puzzled as to why he would sign Jeffery to a $15M salary cap hit for a one year rental *I can not see AJ sticking around beyond this season* and then not even use him. My confidence in Pace is in critical condition.

I say this as to KILL the Hoyer group. I can see JC coming back , melting down against better teams and the Hoyer crowd wanting him back.
