I hate to say it... but, Hoyer. I still think Jay is a much better qb overall, but... Relationship between Bears and Jay has just come to its end. Its like a bad marriage at this point
Hoyer has no accuracy beyond 15 yards. That hail mary was so short it didn't have a prayer. So I do not want Hoyer as our QB.
That said, short of 15 yards, I prefer Hoyer to Cutler.
Can we play Cutler on deep plays and Hoyer on short ones? Without giving away the call?
I'll vote for Hoyer, not just because the Cutler bashing has beaten me down, but because I think the team needs a change. Dowell No-gains seemed to call a better game with being limited to the Hoyer dink and dunk.
**** it. Keep Hoyer in. I've been a Cutler supporter through thick and thin and I'm tired. The dude needs to check his fucking attitude at the door and despite the fact he's in his 30s he still can't do it. Let him back Hoyer up. I think the team plays better with Hoyer behind center as he's a breath of fresh air and doesn't pollute the offense with a sour funk when things go awry.
The halftime crew was speculating that Cutler may have played his last game for the Bears. I don't know about that one, but I could sure see him gone at some point after the season. I've thought that maybe Jay would do well himself with a fresh start on a new team. If he does leave the Bears, it could end up being a very good thing for Cutler as well as the Bears. I'm not into getting down on Cutler. I feel a bit like I felt with Lovie Smith at the end. I didn't hate Lovie, in fact I like the guy. But I just felt like it was time for us to part ways. That's how I feel with Cutler. It may be best for him and us if we part ways now.
I don't expect Hoyer to be a permanent answer at QB. He's just a bridge to the next Chicago Bears QB. And I think he would be fine in that role.
Post game crew on 670, Hub, Big Cat and Olin wouldn't go that far, but they did feel that you might have to continue to go w/Hoyer b/c the O seems to feel better; and Loggains seems to be able to call a more comfortable game w/him in the game.
They did make a point; IF(and it's just speculation) that there is talks among the coaches about sitting Cutler for his backup, that is 2 coaching staffs that have done so, IF(again just speculation based on what Fox said) IF he is benched that will be two coaching staffs that have benched him for his backup. That will say a lot about Cutler, and might already IF they are actually having those talks.

I'm almost to the point of wishing him gone just so certain fans would stop bitching about him, but that would make the team worse so I can't actually want that.
