Why is it that other rookies are improving?

Goldman and Amos showed improvement during their rookie season.

Whitehair is showing great improvement in the past few weeks.

White may look like he's improving but how much is because we throw the ball his way more than any other WR? I'm not against this at all.

When you're drafted in the top 10 of the first round, expectations are on you to do well. No one is asking for pro bowl level performance but atleast show average to above average performance. Floyd has not shown that since he started playing.

White is fine. He's just off balance. He's got a rod in only one shin. Once they rod his other shin and balance him back out again, he'll tear it up!

Not calling him a bust now but I hated the Floyd pick back in April and still do. We moved up to #9 to draft an undersized OLB who's a liability against the run and hasn't shown much pass rush ability either. I still don't understand what Pace saw in this guy.

After week 4:

9. Cody Whitehair, C, Bears
Outside of four penalties now in four games, there’s not much Bears fans can complain about with their new center. Whitehair has surrendered only five pressures, and currently owns the seventh-highest run-blocking grade at the position.

My understanding is that he has short arms and not even sure how much T he has ever played.

So all teams should also judge their drafts just after one year too. Might as well judge a GM after only one year as well. Same with coaching staffs.

You don't make a an overall judgement on a player after 4 games. Nothing wrong with having a preliminary judgement on a guy after one year but you still don't know how good the guy's career is going to be.

We need RT more. Leno is okayish Massie is pure trash.
Grasu will probably end as backup C/G and when Sitton retires Whitehair will take over that spot, or they try Grasu at G.

1 to .5 on the sacks there...you could also say Floyd has the second highest sack total on the team. Pretty good for a rookie I think.
