Mack is entering his 4th year and is most likely going to want to be paid #1 OLB money.
Maybe Howard and our #39 pick for him. I wouldn't give up our #8 pick for him though unless he was locked up cheap. Which we both know isn't going to happen.
I like to correct myself. He's entering his 5th year and is on the FT. Even more reason why I wouldn't do this trade.

Yup, although this is so fantasy I don't get why people come up with these semi ridiculous Hershal Walker mortgage the farm trade scenarios for 5th year players who also want to be paid at the top of their respective positions. If he even had 2 years of control yeah. I know you have at least 2 more years of the FT but still.

I would give them 8 and 39 in a heart beat. I'm not certain about including Howard if only because I have to lock up Mack long term. Mack is one of the best players in the league...hands down.

He is one of the best players in the league but is he worth 19.5 million a year and the hurt in depth do to losing out on a top 10 pick ( Could possibly be a top 5 player in terms of talent ) and another in the high second round?

I don't see how it can help us.
To be fair, I think our 1st and a 3rd next year plus a 4 year 88M with 55M guaranteed would be a good starting point for negotiations. Obviously there is no probable way this happens.
Mack for Howard and 39th I think about. Mack for 8th straight up I think about, but I'm not giving up multiple picks and a really good player for a guy I'm about to have to pay a shit ton of money to.

Let's break this down:
"Is he worth the hurt in depth from losing out on a top 10 pick( Could possibly be a top 5 player in terms of talent )" - First...there is a big discussion on whether the Bears are going to use that pick on an edge rusher. What position does Mack play? EDGE RUSHER. Is Mack one of the best players in the league. The answer to that is YES. Do I know for CERTAIN the edge rusher I draft at 8 is going to be one of the best players in the league? No I do not. So how is my depth hurt? I'm adding one of the best players in the league at a position of need in exchange for a pick that I might have used to address that position. Does the cost of perhaps an added second rounder hurt? It's not fun...but the likelihood of the player and #8 and #39 even equaling what Mack is now isn't that big. This makes the team instantly better...and it does it without a doubt.
"Is he worth the 19.5 million a year" - You tell me what a guy who's got 40 sacks in 4 years in the league is worth. You tell me what a guy who offenses have to scheme against is worth. You tell me what pairing Leonard Floyd with Khalil Mack is worth.
If you can't see how adding a player like Khalil Mack helps us....well...I probably just wasted my time...because you must be blind.
I'm not sure this would benefit us. I should change that. It would benefit us, but I'm not sure it would make for the BEST benefit for us.
If we needed just an edge rusher, I would do it, but we have too many holes and losing the draft equity to fill those holes is a problem for me. As a stretch, if we could get Mack, somehow keep our #8 (pipe dream) to get Nelson and give up all our other picks, maybe but then we would have to hit only on UDFAs to fill everything else. Pace is decent at that so I'd risk it, but we have holes that I think we still need to keep our picks for. Just as we can't afford the big hit FA, I'm not sure we can afford the blockbuster draft pick trade until we have fewer holes to worry about.
