I don't claim to be a master football tactician by any means but I do have eyes. I was at the game last night and watched the strategy carefully early on. The Eagles started with a very carefully crafted plan to get Wentz comfortable (and keep him upright) with a slew of quick sideline throw type plays. I remember saying to my brother; "are they ever gonna run the ball?" after throwing something like 6 straight times early on. They got Wentz going and confident with safe throws that impossible to sack.
I just have to wonder--when you see your OL struggling, doesn't Logg think to himself "maybe I should run some quick outs and slants"?
We won't really know if he's good, will we? JG has played 2 meaningful games only and has looked promising there but still very small sample size. What if Brissett also looks good next 2 games? Bellicheck might be willing to unload Garrapolo in trade since he's a FA after next year anyway. It's just another potential option to consider that's all. JG would be a guy who's still very young with upside but also has some NFL training camp and game experience under his belt.
How much faith do you have in Pace to draft a QB after the Floyd and White picks??? I have very little at this point.
Belichick has been great with knowing what's talented and what isn't. He's been a master at keeping his team competitive over the past decade and a half. If Belichick thinks Garrappolo is good he's going to keep him. If he think's he isn't he ain't.
Honestly I don't have much faith in Pace with QB situation but I rather we try and fail than give up multiple picks for a QB that could be a failure ( Patriots QB have a history of that ).
Bellicheck likes developing QBs and flipping them for picks too. And Brady has the starting job locked up until he gets seriously hurt (career-ending) or his arm falls off like Manning. He could still play for years there yet if he stays healthy.
Before you confer supernatural powers of discernment to Bellicheck, keep in mind that he also took on Shea and Bostic, both of whom are total busts.

Frodo just wants to show everyone what a genius he is . So doing something logical , doing something 'simple' is beneath him . Simple = fundamentals & fundamentals wins . Ditka preached it constantly , as did Parcells , and so does Gruden . But egos have a way of making people stupid and Frodo Loghead is determined to show everyone he can run with the big dogs ... it'll result in failure - and he'll never get the same gig again ( when alls he had to do was stick to the basics ) .
