I doubt it. I would fire Fox and Logg tomorrow (Monday morning) but the Bears organization is run by pussies so they won’t.
And that's the unfortunate part. It's obvious to me as it should be to all Bears fans that a Bears GM does not have full authority over coaching hires. All we have to do is look to the fact that Emery was required to keep Lovie on when he took over to know that it's highly unlikely Ryan Pace had the authority to fire Fox last January and I doubt he even does now. If Fox gets fired tomorrow it will only be because GMcC and Teddy Bears OK'd it.

Well...not for nothing...thats pretty much the case in every organization in all of sports. The GM brings their recommendation to ownership, ownership either signs off on it or they don't. The GM does work for them after all.

I realize there will always be some connection between a GM and ownership and maybe all I'm doing here is suggesting that in this case it has been an unhealthy and many times dysfunctional relationship that hasn't furthered the interests of the team as opposed to being part of the micro management the continues to plague them.
A quote from O'Brian of the Texansa fter he made a bad play call that led to their loss. BTW, Watson threw for 402 yards, (4 TDs) and ran for 67 more yards on top of that. I think Mitch handed it off 402 times, so I guess it's a wash. But the point of this is a quote after the loss
“It’s my fault.” O’Brien said, via CBS Houston. “I made some bad play calls today, and I just have to do a better job on game day. … We have to attack. If you enter a game and you dip your toe in the water, you’re probably not going to win that game anyway. So you might as well go in there and attack. And that’s what we do. That’s my philosophy. And that’s the players’ philosophy. Just didn’t do it enough today.”
Who knew an offense was allowed to attack. I thought only the defense was allowed to attack.

Fox HATES turnovers and I think sometimes is conservative to a fault to minimize them.
Guess what? Trub is a raw rookie learning the ropes and he’s gonna have some bad games and make some mistakes. He’s gonna throw some INTs. Watson had THREE INTs yesterday.
The irony is, playing Fox-ball requires at least one of two things to work. Either you have to be facing a low quality O your defense can largely shut down or you have to be pretty much be mistake-free. Like in the Minnesota game, the Bears made a few too many mistakes (errors of commission or omission) and had to air it out at the end as they were behind with time running out. Both of Trub’s interceptions so far have come at the very end of the game when it was “make a big play or you’re gonna lose anyway” time.

+1 I totally agree with you. In addition, it makes it tough on Trubisky due to the fact we really haven't got much in the way of big play people for him to work with. It seems asinine for folks to put this on Mitch. The OL had a rough day giving him time to throw, and even if they did, look at the guys he's trying to throw to.

O'Brien is a HC who can handle a rookie QB and watch him bloom. Watson landed in the right spot. Mitch will just have to wait until he have the right coaches in place but even then will we ever see an offense as wide open as the Texans are willing to run?

Exactly which is why the offense is so easy to defend. Every team knows we'll feature the run until we're forced to pass and then that become easy to defend because the the front four can simply lay their ears back and rush. It's shame to even have to put a rookie through this kind of inept coaching but that's the way it will be under Fox.
