"Just get a good one".......but QB would be my last choice. As much as we may need one we aren't ready for a highly drafted QB yet. We're still Cleveland but on the shores of a different lake and my thinking is that if we do draft one that high the results will be much like Cleveland's in the past when they were always reaching for a QB and he failed. Fix the rest of the problems first then find the QB.
why wait again? What's the Argument next year for not taking one? Wouldn't it fix many Problems if we get our QB and hit?
IMHO? No, it would not. What's the reason? I've given it many times. Drafting a QB high under Fox is a waste and 2017 would be wasted year in his development. I think Pace should draft a QB just not in round one. I'd like to see him spend his first three picks on potential starters and a rookie QB won't start.
They should go QB, in the end it comes down to who 49'ers pick. If they pick the QB Bears would have taken, they I think they should go with a "safer" player in Adams. We need leader on that D yo

I agree. If the QB that Pace wants (assuming there is one) gets taken, then picking a QB just to pick a QB is stupid. You have to go with a QB you think is going to be your franchise QB or you go to another contributor impact kind of player.

No love for Jonathan Allen anymore? I could see him being a good guy for the Bears. I know he is a similar size to Jonathan Bullard who didn't look good at 5T in Fangio's system but I honestly think that is an issue with Bullard more than anything else.
If you think back to Fangio's defense with the niners they had Justin Smith play one of the 5T spots. Now I'm not saying that Allen would be the athlete that Justin Smith was but he would at least be a similarly sized guy and being undersized didn't seem to be an issue for Smith.
