One last chance. We aren't interested in who, but rather what. This isn't what position they will draft, its what position they should draft. So I've listed the positions currently held by the top prospects. If I mess this up too badly, I'll redo it.
"Just get a good one".......but QB would be my last choice. As much as we may need one we aren't ready for a highly drafted QB yet. We're still Cleveland but on the shores of a different lake and my thinking is that if we do draft one that high the results will be much like Cleveland's in the past when they were always reaching for a QB and he failed. Fix the rest of the problems first then find the QB.

why wait again? What's the Argument next year for not taking one? Wouldn't it fix many Problems if we get our QB and hit?

What happens if we don't hit on our QB? I don't know if you realize this or not but this QB draft isn't something to put much faith in. If one of the top 4 QBs are in the late first just trade up to get him. All 4 QBs ( Watson, Kizer, Trubisky, and Mahomes ) are relatively close to the same skill set. One will be there in the bottom half.
Now let's focus on building a strong defense. Either get Thomas or Allen to have a great D-line or pickup Adams for a great safety and a guy who can change the culture of our team.

What happens if we don't hit on our D-Player? I don't know if you realize this or not, but this QB draft isn't something to worry about with some good QBs at the top. If None of the Top4 makes it to the later parts or no Team is willing to trade down for us, we get nobody.
Let's Focus on finally getting a Franchise QB. Draft D with other picks and have a good secondary and DL then. Getting a Franchise QB WILL Change the culture of the WHOLE Franchise.

What happens when a top player busts? You draft high again in 2-3 years; and that player is no longer on your team, that's it. If you hit, the Def player might help you for 4-8 years to get to the the playoffs. If you hit the qb helps you get to the playoffs for the next 10-15 years; sometimes longer.
No one is paying top 5-10 money, even on a rookie scale, for a guy that is playing ST's and backing up on the Def side; the QB might make it all four years though if he is at least capable of spot checking in games b/c of inj.
