Okay, well then we agree. I'm not expecting him to be a superstar, uber stud, nor am I expecting him to be in the top 10 of WR's when this team is likely not going to throw enough to allow it, and he's not experienced enough to benefit from it if they were.
I want to see him play 12-14 games, at minimum, preferrably all 16 games(inj's can happen but nothing more then 1-2 missed weeks at a time) And I want to see him be a reliable target that shows speed and explosion. If that happens next year we can talk about taking another step.
Problem is... every time he takes another step, he breaks a leg. He'd be better off standing still
I don't think he has to kick ass, but he does have to stay healthy and show some chops. Something close to 1000 yards and 8-10 TDs
I would consider that to be a kick-ass season for a guy playing in only his 5th NFL game starting this September.
I don't know what to expect from the receivers & TEs this year, with all of the changes, but my gut feeling is that the Bears will distribute the passes more, rather than having a true #1 getting a ton of passes. I expect this especially with the red zone scoring. But still, if White can stay healthy for an entire year (I know, that's a big "if" statement), then I'll bet he will come close to that 1k in receiving... certainly 800+ yards.

White (if healthy) will need this year just to gain experience and establish a baseline for his play. In 2018 he could possibly shine. If your going on year 4 or 5 with a guy just coming on that's not a good return on investment.

First time watching the games I wasn't impressed at all by White. In addition to looking confused he also looked kind of slow. He looked a bit better when I started to rewatch the games recently.
That said I would still say that the main difference between White and Wilson this year was that Wilson actually looked pretty good before he got predictably injured again!

I call him a half bust at this point.
I disagree on the half bust. Dude was taken in the first to be day 1 talent. So far we know as much as we did since year 1 and that is nothing.
