I been back and forth on this one. If he is the future then get him is where I am and spend the 3rd pick and do not risk losing him. Without a franchise QB we know how that works, the experts saying he is a reach is there opinion, they all would have said Prescott was a reach and I would guess thought Brady was a reach in the first round as well.
The Prescott and Brady logic have made it easier to jump on the get your guy at #3 if he is your future. I would be happy with any of the top 3 but like Watson the best. I will be happy no matter who Pace takes with 3rd pick. (DL, CB, QB, or even S). Some real stud Safeties this year and both CB and S is deep. Still looks like a drop off between top rated and 3rd or 4th rated which is why I could settle for a S like Jamal Adams, I would not do it but he is that good and if Pace sees value in the position I would not complain if that fits his plan. Free Agency will reveal some of the plan and best avail baby!
Of the ones listed, I would go with Watson. Not for any particular reason other than I thought he looked better than the others to me on the videos I've seen.
Too bad we can't choose two, in the hopes one turns out decent. Hey, if we did that we could have Deshone throwing to Jefferey and Deshaun throwing to Jeffries.
This could be posted in any number of threads, but if the Glennon deal goes through, I think Pace doesn't pick a QB until day 3. Glennon gets two years while a rookie rides the bench.
