Huge rumor!! If the Redskins shop Cousins what could we do?

I have zero desire to make a move to get a QB like Cousins.  The only scenario I see fit to go after him is if the Bears were in "Win Now" mode.  If a team had all the pieces in place other than a QB I think Cousins is a pretty good fit.  The guy can help win games.

Definitely better then Hoyer, I think Ryan is pretty unfair, right now he and that offense are running at near historic levels.  Ryan is passing at a 1ypa more then any other qb in the nfl that has at least 100 attempts. Only Bradford and Brees have a better completion %, but their ypa are in the 7's, and his qbr is 5 points higher then Brady and 10 or more points higher then Prescott and Rogers. 

It'd be unfair to compare Cousins to ANYONE playing at the lvl Ryan is, including Rodgers and Brady; and no one thinks Cousins is Ryan or Brady.

Near 70% comp%, over 8ypa, and a 97 qbr isn't anything but inefficient, that's pretty good. He also has 25 td's to 12 int's, he also has more rush td's then fumbles according to nfl.com. So his TD to TO ratio is good. 

And still, Wash is looking at trading him? Why? Are they seeing a terrible market and looking at jumping in to get several picks hoping to snag a top qb in this draft?

Well not sure how who would be the highest paid, he and Jimmy G getting traded would both get stupid fat contracts this year. But at least 1 has a proven track record over seasons to compare him to.

But I agree, you don't trade picks, and then guarantee huge money for this guy; and all of this feels like Den all over again, what do they know that the league doesn't, and is that why they want to get rid of this guy? His #'s are good, the help around him isn't great and he still put up really good #'s so why get rid of him?

Speaking of why are they getting rid of him, it reminds me of the year Denver raped us with the Cutler deal.  Jay Cutler was coming off a Pro Bowl and 4,500+ yards passing season.  In Chicago we all celebrated like lunatics.  Jay, like Cousins, passed for the exact same number of TDs (25)... both had completion %s in the 60s.  Jerry Angelo had finally proven that he WAS the smartest guy in the room.  

But he wasn't.

Jay Cutler wasn't the guy we thought he was.  In retrospect I wish he had never come here.  I really wouldn't want Cousins unless it was pretty reasonable (and that's not going to happen).
