In college there is BS, MS and PHD (Bull Shit, More Shit and Piled Higher and Deeper). I made it to the More Shit level. How, you might ask? By making shit up of course. And lots of it. But I'm just a common run-of-the-mill MSU. You sir, are the Dean, the Master of MSU, and should maybe be an MMSU or something.
Trolls like HHM and his crew make shit up all the time, just to be dicks. That doesn't qualify as MSU, even though there is an MSU in how I refer to them... duMSUmbitches.
aw shucks..... I am just dumb founded (mostly dumb)
LOL! How could I not have posted that one! But yeah...thats pretty accurate.
I've never torn an ACL or anything, but I can see how that happens. I broke two toes stepping into the shower a couple years ago. I still go real slow and take extra care when lifting my second foot up and over the tub wall. The first foot, no, that goes in as usual without thought or care.
man, as we are getting older shark, you HAVE to cut out those high risk activities

Yeah, just from having to deal with my achilles I get it. I literally think about everything I do. Occasionally if I'm demonstrating something to someone and I'm in the thick of it I'll do something and then think "hmm...I probably shouldn't have done that". My achilles is fine..in fact at this point the one I had surgery on is better than the one I didn't...but I'm overly conscious of it.

You got a bad shower story too huh ? Mine was getting out - went to step out , lifted my leg up started to lean forward to get out , when my plant foot slipped - no sooner had the thought gone thru my mind ( I slipped ) than were my ribs slamming into the side of the tub . Most intense pain I've ever felt in my life - couldn't move for literally 5 minutes , and then barely - the next month sucked . Since , I grab the shower curtain bar everytime I'm stepping out cuz that ain't happening again . I used to laugh about all these people who got injured in the shower , like wtf ? how ? till it happened to me . Be careful getting in / out of the shower people .

Seriously, bad shit can happen getting into and out of a tub. They are slippery especially when wet. And they are curved so lots of places to lose footing. Ditch it and have a stand up shower put in it's place. Open the door, step in. Not to say that stuff still can't happen, but less chance. Or do what I did. Stop cleaning myself. It's been 6 years now. Not a single accident.

You better not have any accidents if you're not cleaning yourself!

True story. Many years ago we rented from Hertz as the corporate rental company when traveling. I don't remember where, but I landed and got my rental car and the lady asked me as part of the battery of questions they ask you whether or not I wanted "personal accident insurance". I thanked her and told her no, if I had a personal accident I would just change my pants. She was still laughing as I walked away with my paperwork.
